Bethel Home Care
Your home. Your choice. Our care.
Why choose Bethel Home Care?
You are at the heart of all we do.
Our Care Service Case Managers will help you tailor your own package of care and services which best suit YOU – your individual needs and desires.
We will help you maintain the lifestyle you wish to live, keeping you engaged with your community, interests and family life. All our services are flexible. You can even keep your own cleaner or gardener if you’re happy with the help you already receive.
What is a Home Care Package?
A Home Care Package is a government program that provides support to older people with complex needs to help them continue living at home for as long as possible. These services are tailored to respect individual needs, changing care profiles and flexibility of choice.
The services we provide are based around your choices. Our goal is to assist in maintaining your lifestyle, helping you stay connected and engaged with all aspects of your life.
Our Care Service co-ordinators will talk with you about your needs. Together, we will design a package of care and services befitting your individual requirements. These services are always fully flexible for tailoring.

Getting Started
Call us on (02) 9797 3600 and speak with our Client Relations Officer, who will answer your questions and guide you through the My Aged Care System. Alternatively, you can contact MyAgedCare on 1800 200 422 or apply online and ask to be referred to Bethel Home Care Packages.
ACAT Assessment Process
The first stage is to find out if you are eligible for subsidised aged care. This involves a two-part assessment process that understands your needs and what services could help you. It starts with a simple eligibility check which you can do online or over the phone followed by an in-person assessment.
An ACAT (Aged Care Assessment Team) will assess you for a Home Care Package. They can also provide assessments for short term and residential care options.
You will then be referred for an assessment to better understand your care needs and types of care you may be eligible for.
